President Brother William visits our students in London

Undergraduates studying in London this semester were happy to host a recent visit by Brother William.

Students in London experience the realities of life in a global society. While visiting our undergraduate students in London recently, the importance of preparing them for lives in our ever more multicultural and global world became overwhelmingly clear. The students — business, sociology, political science, music recording, public relations, English and theatre majors — are studying global realities in the midst of a culture that is grappling with rising extremists opposing the multicultural openness of England. Even as the students are exploring these realities from an academic perspective and in the middle of Black History month in England, the Theatre majors are presenting a play titled “God’s Country,” a powerful, controversial and informative docu-drama written by Steven Dietz, concerning the absurdities and fanaticism of the white supremacist movement of the 1980's in the United States.
